Hilton Atlanta Helps Firestation #4
September 19, 2011Hilton Atlanta team members helped clean up the City of Atlanta Fire Station #4. The team members reorganized the kitchen, painted the walls, replaced the chairs completed various other projects around the fire station. It was our way of saying thank you to them for everything they do in our community.

Farewell, Dragon Con! See You Next Year…

- Hilton Atlanta Team Members go all out to welcome DragonCon attendees.
Dragon Con just wrapped up its 25th Anniversary weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. What orginally started as a 1400 people convention has now grown to over 40,000 people converging on downtown Atlanta over Labor Day Weekend for the Dragon Con festivities and events.
When Dragon Con first started in 1987, it was just for science fiction and fantasy book fans, as well as Dungeons and Dragons style gaming. Now, 25 years later, they’ve grown to include video games, comic books, TV shows, movies and dozens of subgenres.
Hilton Atlanta had the pleasure of welcoming Star Wars storm troopers, comic book super heroes, and G.I. Joe characters. In the spirit of the event, several Hilton Atlanta team members dressed like characters from the Wizard of Oz.
We hope everyone who attended this year’s Dragon Con had a wonderful time, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2012.
